When I wasn't passed out cold yesterday, I was lounging on the day bed and that seemed like a fine place to get a little embroidery in.

I'm biding my time at work until I get a particular email and I can go home sick guilt-free.

Here's the latest on the Plimoth Panel embroidery. I still don't think it's anything much to look at, but at least it's starting to look like *something*.

My Plimoth panel has been sadly languishing. I'm really looking forward to the event on Saturday because I'm just planning on sitting and embroidering. It had looked like I was going to have an aerial lesson in VT in the morning and then I'd come racing in for the feast. But the lesson is later in the month. As I posted earlier, last night I accomplished a number of the thing I needed to do, so I let myself do something I wanted to do -- work on my Plimoth-inspired embroidery. Last night I roused myself from my sickbed to trek down to Plimoth for the Jacket Reveal. I'm so glad I went! They really did everything up right. There was a reception with 17th century snacks (peasecods in lent, oysters, mussels, Shrewsbury cakes, &c.), a slideshow of the whole project (I think I was in one of the pictures), tables with examples ( Read more... )
